Audiences worldwide are hungry for entertainment that inspires and touches them on a deep level. Through her company, JaZzy MaE, Laurie Lamson is creating modern books, screenplays and digital films to intrigue and entertain a diverse audience, while delivering unusual perspectives and inspiration in a fresh, humorous fashion.

Laurie is a professional filmmaker with a BFA in Film Production from NYU Tisch School of the Arts who specializing in making the most of the indie/documentary aesthetic. After graduating, she gained hands-on experience in various crew positions, and later as a full-time writer/producer for entertainment and promotional videos.

She first formed JaZzy MaE in San Francisco in 1997 to make her short comedy "Family Values in the Goddess Years." Her latest is "Lomita Ghosts."

She has also produced, directed and shot a series of mini-documentaries. Laurie enjoys working with creative and modern businesses to deliver their messages in a positive way, and has started producing behind-the-scenes mini-docs for feature indie filmmakers.

In addition to filmmaking, Laurie's versatile writing style keeps her in demand for everything from bios to website material to short and feature screenplays. Videos produced from her educational and promo video scripts have done well for clients, including an Emmy-nominated local Public Service Announcement, an Aegis Award Finalist and a Telly Award.
